European Style Maple Kitchen in West Hartford, CT by LRG WoodCrafting
This welcoming and spacious kitchen was manufactured by LRG WoodCrafting and resides in West Hartford, CT. Classical elements abound in this impressive cooking space. Hard Maple wood takes the center stage here, which coincidentally is also used as a tonewood for violins, violas and cellos. Each furniture facade from drawer fronts to
cabinet sides, are enriched with a raised molding.

Subtle details receive a great attention, like using the same fine pattern on both the applied lead glass from the hutch and the hanging pendants. The practical 45 degree cooktop with hood is one of the center pieces in the kitchen. The front of the hood is beautifully ornamented with a classic maple applique while the surroundings are guarded by fluted pilasters.

In the middle there is a majestic island that brings so much functionality: the oven, more drawers and cleverly built in bookshelves on the side, for your ever inspiring cookbooks.

Its corners preserve the classic European theme, splendidly decorated with fluted cantons and leafed acanthus corbels, setting the final tone for a sophisticated kitchen with a noble attitude.

It is a very welcoming kitchen. I love the book shelves on the island. It's so inviting and giving that sensation "I gotta cook something here".

My wife loved it too, her only wish was if you could only had a good capture of the window seat and its view towards the outside garden :)

Leo's the BEST and I should know since that is MY kitchen! He is not only a master craftsman, but responsive and communicated with me constantly. He took my vision and turned it into the kitchen of my dreams, patiently working out every detail. I wanted the corner cooktop and hood; only he was undaunted. In the end, he was the only one I could have trusted to pull it off. When I found the perfect granite (Golden Noir), we spent what felt like hours in his shop getting the stain just right. The kitchen is elegant in both design and functionality, yet warm and welcoming, the way a home should feel. I marvel how every day is a joy in that kitchen and I am grateful that I had the good luck to connect with Leo. By the way, I am happy to send your wife a picture of the garden and the adjoining patio! It's modest but just perfect for our needs.

And that's why I love it.

@Leo: You did a splendid job. It is a fine kitchen indeed.

@Nina Elgo: We would love to see a picture capturing the window seat as well. Modest is beautiful, especially when it's tailored to your soul :)
